SIO Automotive has become R&D Center.
Within the scope of the Law No.5746 on Supporting Research, Development and Design Activities, SIO Automotive was approved by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology as the 707th R&D Center of Turkey on 17.11.2017.
Our R&D Center with 50 specialists in steering and suspension parts aims to design and produce more competitive products, to increase product quality and standard, to improve production processes and to design new production processes,
to increase energy and resource utilization efficiency, and is working to increase and encourage highly qualified employment.
Our R&D Center continues to work with Tubitak TEYDEB projects and Patent & Utility Model applications.
In addition, the outputs obtained within the scope of the developed projects are submitted to relevant publications and reported to related congresses and symposiums in order to contribute to the literature and know-how and lead the industry.
Our R&D Center, which attaches great importance to University-Industry Cooperation, also is in contact with universities including Tekirdağ and Bursa and signs protocols.
Within the scope of the signed protocols, it is planned to carry out the following studies and collaborations;
• Scientific or technological research and/or training activities to be undertaken jointly by the Parties
• Articles, papers, patents etc. based on the projects that the university and SIO Automotive will carry out together
• Cooperation between the university and SIO Automotive for the mutual use of laboratory, test and characterization substructures
• Seminars, conferences, promotional activities between the parties
• Cooperation to provide university students with internship opportunities within SIO Automotive

SIO Automotive becomes a member of OSS and TAYSAD
SIO has become a member of the Automotive Aftermarket Products and Services Association (OSS) in June 2017, followed by the Association of Automotive Parts & Components Manufacturers (TAYSAD) in July 2017.
Our company, which meets the criteria for membership of both these associations, will be able to follow developments in both aftermarket and OE market more closely with these strategic memberships
and to direct product development and investment policies according to these developments.
We thank OSS and TAYSAD for accepting us among them. As SIO Automotive, to participate in the activities of OSS and TAYSAD, to exchange mutual information and to show every effort in the development
of our country's automotive industry will be our greatest goal.
OSS: It was established in 1995 to contribute to the development and growth of the automotive aftermarket sector in our country. OSS Is a member of the FIGIEFA,

TAYSAD: It was founded in 1978 and is the only and most qualified representative of the Turkish automotive supply industry. 376 members represent 65% of the automotive supply industry and 70% of the export.
These 376 companies employs more than 140 thousand people and 25% of its members are manufacturing with foreign capital partnership.
It is a member of European Association of Automotive Suppliers CLEPA (www.clepa.be) and is the founding partner of OTAM Automotive Technologies Research & Development company.
TAYSAD is a reference for domestic and foreign corporations in the procurement of automotive supply industry products and has ESCA Silver Label and ISO 9001 certificates.
Precise Measurements via CMM
SIO continues to invest on latest technology. We put our new Zeiss Contura CMM system into use.
This advanced system will provide us precise measurements of objects for design, testing, assessment, profiling, and reverse engineering of parts.
Our New Factory's Architectural Success is Approved

Besides, it was selected as one of the 18 projects that were nominated for 4 awards of National Architecture Exhibition and Awards event which is organized once in 2 years by Chamber of Architects and held 15th this year.

IZTEK Innovation R&D and Technology Awards.
In the IZTEK Innovation R&D and Technology Awards event which was held first time, we were honored with the Jury Special Award with our "Modular Aluminum Wishbone" project
at the Best Technology Projects of the Year category. Our engineering manager Mr.Bülent Ecevit Bayram received our award on behalf of our company at the event organized in İzmir.
